The dagger alif shows up often enough in Arabic -- I haven't found it on the Arabic keyboard yet, even with Show Keyboard Viewer and checking through the option, shift, shift-option menus. I have the feeling it must be somewhere -- I'm sure a few people have tried the keyboard out before (and after) Apple released it:-) It's really annoying to have to go to the Character Viewer, lookup Superscript alif, and click back and forth to insert it just to type common words like 'this' and 'that' ( هٰذَا or ذٰلِكَ ) for example. Sort of like making you cut and paste the letter u in English -- not the most common vowel, b-wait a min-pasting here-u-te-u-t annoying to lose :-) Mythic victory arena mac os.
